Put some KA-POW* into your life!
*Knowledge+Action=POWer
Positive Peer Groups will help a teen find his or her purpose. This is a career
or cause that they can be passionate about that will become the driver for them
to want to study and work toward that purpose. Each teen is an indivitual
with different aspirations. They can tailor their learning to meet their personal
needs.
We recognize that there are many teens out there that are ready to take
responsibility for more areas of their lives, including their education,
their money, and their life's ambitions. A Positive Peer Group will
help them realize these aspirations.
The Importance of Correct Principles
Principles are basic and simple truths that, if understood, provide
shortcuts to understanding many more truths. The PPG will strive to show
youth correct principles and encourage them to make intelligent chioces.
When making a life plan, how does one know where to start? How does one
know what is important?
For over twenty years, Spectrum Living has been used and studied by select individuals. It is a life balance program based on prioritized values. The values are:
- Spiritual Strength
Adherence to God, or religious tenets
- Personal Health
Mental and Physical
- Eternal Family
Happiness in the home
- Temporal Stewardship
Money, physical surroundings
- Divine Mission
Life's work
- Compassionate Service
Leadership, friendship, charity
Every activity that one does in life falls within one of these categories. There is so much required of individuals, but how does one know how to organize their time to be most effective individuals? We have found that if the values are used in this particular order, individuals are happy, healthy, hard workers, and able to serve others. This, in turn, gives the individual increased abilities and a higher self image.
Now, for the first time, these powerful values are being brought to teenagers in a format that will be meaningful to them.
